Prezza’s fourth generation web-based software streamlines feedback collection and helps organizations make better decisions without the typical usage penalties common in comparable research technologies.

Cambridge MA 21 Feb 2007: Prezza Technologies has released the latest version of their web-based form, feedback, and survey software. Their fourth generation software product, CHECKBOX® Survey Server, offers improved capabilities that serve the needs of business researchers in feedback-driven organizations worldwide. In addition to the matured feature set, Prezza has also renamed its technology platform from Ultimate Survey to CHECKBOX®. Prezza retains their popular no-penalties licensing model which allows usage of their software to expand within organizations - from being used as a simple tool into an enterprise-wide data collection system.

Founded in 2002, Prezza Technologies’ applications are used by over 900 private and public organizations across 30 countries. Customers range from small business and marketing consultants to large global businesses including Vodafone, Wells Fargo, Microsoft, Deutsche Bank, HP, and BP.

Prezza’s clients use their software as a multi-purpose tool in order to build powerful surveys with advanced design, reporting, and enterprise integration options; and to create forms which are used as applications, sign-up sheets, course evaluations, and tests. Companies use the data gathered by surveys in order to make better decisions about the future of their organizations products and services. Organizations switch from paper to online forms in order to streamline the processes of collecting structured data and save on paper and data entry costs.

“We are consistently surprised by the creativity of our clients,” said John Craven, president of Prezza Technologies. “Many companies have baked our product into their business plans by replacing all of their paper forms, using our survey scoring features to conduct quizzes and tests, adding multimedia content to their surveys, and customizing just about anything they want. Our goal is to continue to innovate in this space – and try to stay ahead of our customers.”

Prezza recognizes that different kinds of customers are interested in their software. For business users with limited IT resources, Prezza offers survey hosting, or survey software-as-a-service. For .NET developers, Prezza offers an open API and a packaged developer’s kit for additional fees. For educational and non-profit institutions, Prezza offers steep discounts.

“We’ve been using Prezza’s products for over two years now. We bought it because it was the right product, at the right cost, with the right amount of reporting,” said Gary Gordon, Department of Information Technology Services, New Jersey City University. “But the biggest reason we bought it, is because I knew it could be quickly used it to replace the various other systems I had in place for tests, forms, and voting across our entire campus.”

New Jersey City University is one of Prezza’s many academic customers, a few of which include Penn State, London Business School, UCLA, University of Michigan, and John Hopkins University.
