Default Data Extraction help

When querying the database to extract user responses for a survey directly, I am pulling information from "outdated" questions.

EXAMPLE
If I deleted a question from a survey year-over-year, the answer remains in the database. When looking at the user response through the view user response feature, I do not see these old answers, however I am getting them in my extract query. What criteria can I use to limit out the responses from modified/deleted questions?

In both Ultimate Survey and Checkbox deleting a question deletes all associated responses. In an effort to prevent the accidental loss of data we switched to soft deleting many resources in Checkbox. I suspect you will want to modify your query to filter results based on the value of the Deleted column.

Default Follow-up

Thanks, however in most cases, I will not have the specifics for a deleted question, from the survey designers. Is there a way using the database that these questions and responses can be identified (deletion date)?

How does the system identify these outdated items, for the view individual responses feature?

I am not sure I am understanding your question. If the value of the Deleted column is set to 1 the item has been deleted.

Are you trying to do something other than filter out deleted questions? If so please explain what it is you are trying to accomplish in more detail.

Nope, I think I am all good. Thanks for the help.

If I hit any snags, I'll repost.
