Default Reports for public viewing

I'm trying to grant access to a report for public viewing using the generated link from the Report Edit function ("This report can be accessed directly with this URL:"). I've tried granting view permission to the "Everyone" group but still get the "You do not have permission to access this report." message when clicking the generated link.

Is there anyway to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Editing the default policy of the report and adding the "View Report" permission should make the report available to anyone. The only exception would be for users that are also on the Access List without the View permission.

If setting this permission still does not make the report public, you may wish to contact Prezza support for more help.

Will the addition of the "view report" in the Default Policy allow the report to be viewed by anyone (people not in the ACL)?

The reason is that we are looking to use the cross tab report to display the various responses for public view by adding the report URL to a page on our web site.

The default policy of an ACL determines what permissions are granted to users who are not on the ACL. For example, if the default policy grants the "View Report" permission, any user who has not had this right explicitly revoked, will be able to see the report.
