Export user info

I was surprised to find that there is no way to either export or print user profile information unless it is a part of a report from a response to a survey. We maintain information about individuals in both quickbooks, outlook exchange and other spreadsheets . Now we have another database to maintain. We assumed that the Checkbox database was a candidate to be the primary database with up-to-date information kept current by respondents to surveys. The information could be downloaded and imported into the other programs. I don't understand why there is an import feature for user data but not an export feature. Can we look forward to this in a future version.

Checkbox supports accessing this information through a web services API, though there isn't currently any support for this feature through the administration console. I have added this as a feature request in our internal feature tracker.

Is the feature available through a hosted server account.

It is possible to access the Web Services API through the hosted account, though there is an additional fee for that upgraded level of access. For more information about that, please contact our sales team and they will be able to provide you with more details.
