Creating Custom Items. Is it possible?

In the Survey Manager -> Survey Editor section,
you usually adding Items of sorts.

Questions, Display, Report & Action Items.

Is it possible for us to develop and embed/deploy our own Items?

Possible Uses:

-> Creating a "Open Ended Single-Line Text" item to encapsulate "Masks" from 3rd party control vendors etc..
-> Extended Action Items for Logging and Tracking purposes (writing info to a database, etc..)

First, let me apologize for the late reply. We had a problem with the forum for over a month that prevented thread notifications from being mailed to our support staff and we just found about it this week.

This is definitely possible and encouraged. We went out of our way when designing Checkbox to allow custom items to be plugged-in to the software. For detailed information about this, please contact our support team and they can provided documentation and other helpful resources.
