The company was co-founded in 2002 by Tom First, who previously built and sold Nantucket Nectars (a perennial member of the Inc.’s list of fastest growing companies in the 1990s). The company is privately funded and has been consistently exceeding sales and margin goals. Our software products are currently used by major organizations worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies and educational institutions in over 30 countries.
Prezza Technologies offers web-based, desktop, and mobile packaged software products focused on survey and data collection. Response to our packaged products has been exceptional and our development efforts are focused on expanding and further integrating our product into enterprise business solutions. The ideal candidate will join our small development team as an integral member and be involved in all aspects of product development and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Independently design and develop software components of our application using the .NET framework
- Participate in the architecture and design of overall application
- Participate in determining the product roadmap
- Produce clear, tested, well-documented code according to spec
- Provide technical support to our customer base
- Be an integral member of small, committed team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1+ years of software development experience focused on designing, implementing and deploying enterprise-level Internet applications
- Ability to work according to the project plan and be accountable for hitting project plan targets
- Excellent C# and SQL programming skills
- Experience with .NET Framework and development tools; ASP.NET a plus
- Familiarity with XML, XSD and SOAP and web services a plus
- Experience developing data-driven applications using SQL Server or other relational databases; ADO.NET a plus
- Experience with .NET Compact Framework a plus
- Ability to design and communicate the design of complex software systems (UML, design patterns, use cases)
- A self-starter with excellent communication skills; works well with others
